No Northern Light, well we have Time-lapse!

We got a little too excited when we heard that there would be Northern Lights over Vancouver. Despite the bright moon and being really close to the city, we decided to give it a try at capturing the spectacle. At worst, we'd get some shots of the city overnight and perhaps dawn too (something we've always wanted to do). Alas, no sign of the aurora, but the skies were clear; which allowed us to capture the Milky Way, the setting of a waning supermoon, and a really nice dawn over Vancouver. One of the lessons learnt: Get your sensors cleaned thoroughly, especially for astrophotography!
