Yna has the sweetest smile! Her smile brings joy to the people around her.
It's finally here. Yna and Yohei's wedding photos and video!! This was one of the weddings we waited for a long time. A wedding full of our own friends, a wedding with most DIY and tears, a wedding that is most special to us. Yna and Yohei have been very supportive friends ever since Modern Romance launched in 2010. It has been a long journey for us and we are very grateful to have them by our side with so much love and support.
One day, Yna called me and I could tell she was very excited and had something wonderful to share with me. I was so overwhelmed with such happy news that Yohei proposed and she said yes! I've seen so many proposals, engagements, and weddings, but never got to experience a good close friend's own and that I get the first-hand hot news! Another exciting thing for me was that Yna invited me to be her bridesmaid! Oh my!! A bridesmaid invitation!! On top of all that good news, Yna wanted to have us to be her photo and video team! It was a phone call overloaded with excitement and joy.

Grand Entrance at Stanley Park Pavilion - The First High Fives!
A hug after hearing the letter that Yohei's mom wrote before she passed away. It was a truly touching moment, no one had dry eyes after hearing the speech.
With all the DIY and rustic + "earthy" themed decor and details, we wanted to create this particular video with a touch of vintage look. The opening of the video has an old film look and feel to it, and ends with their rings on Yohei's precious record player that his mom gave him. It was a surprise ending for Yohei because we knew that he'd love to see record player incorporated in their wedding video.
